The Mormon Alumni Association is sponsoring a fabulous yearly award for the X-Mormon who has had the biggest impact over the past year!

I count nine.

Or, since everyone else is doing it, I'll count Mr. Diety twice and call it an even ten.

Walter Kirn has won the X-Mormon of the Year award for 2009 and he's having some good fun with the honor. :clap:

I'd like to encourage anyone here who's a fan of MSP or Kirn or X-Mormons to please head over and leave congratulations (or snarky comments) at the MSP post announcing Kirn's triumph. Thank you!!

It's really him. Thing is, I don't know about anybody else, but I'm suddenly antsy to see the Spawn of Brodie competition kick off in earnest.

In other words, we need to see some kind of speech from Walter soon, or it's gonna be time to move along, folks.

And if he misses the window of opportunity at MSP, I'd suggest he make it up to us by delivering his acceptance speech on the Colbert Report.
