I like this guy. He doesn't hide any of his B.S. Its all out in the open to be seen. He needs somebody to project his fears onto and it is the ex-mo that takes the hit. Thankfully his ex-mos don't exist and all we have to do is "click away" from him. I am glad he is not my HT. He proves that there is a great deal of wisdom in just moving on.

I was poking around over there and found a profile for none other than a certain Kittywaymo. Her profile is chock full of priceless gems. I have to share:

Kittywaymo wrote:
Love to travel and fight the exmo's. Question: Have you ever seen a happy exmo?? Neither have I. Most are truly miserable. Here is where I actually feel sorry for them. They have literally either 1. Fell into sin, then pride, refuse to repent, then go inactive, leave the Church and soon hate the Church, but can't leave it alone.
2. Get offended, a little sensitive to sister or brother so and so, start murmuring and complaining, faultfinding etc. then leave the Church, join others of like mind, and hate the Church.
...
My husband is a descendent of the Prophet Joseph Smith and I think Anti-Mormonism can and will lead to similar violence and acts of hatred (e.g. "Prop 8") as time goes on. We need to fight it now, not later.
:roflnew:
And I hate to be that guy but her DH looks old enough to be her Grandpa.

That bitch needs to be grudge fucked.

What a jerk.

Forget for a minute that what he is asking people to do GOES DIRECTLY AGAINST THE BIBLE!!

I don't believe in the Bible, but I am assuming he does. It clearly states in the New Testament that if you are married to an unbeliever you should stay with them. Period. Very very clear.

So this guy is not only anti-anti-mormon, he is also anti-Bible I guess :)

I read this Hoping to find some wisdom for my family members who remain in Mormonism (OUCH!)

Engaging with LD$, Inc. is like being immersed in a giant game of Simon Says; only thing is, there are multiple Simons in the chain of command...
There is an abundance of people (males) who are eager if not Ready to tell you how, when, & where to stand up & sit down (Don't EVER raise your Hand!). Never mind they seldom tell you Why...

The Chief Simon delegates a lot, and the qualifications of the participants are dubious. The instructions are sometimes confusing - if not conflicting, and given without justification; the motivation is uncertain, and the means is always identical: Follow Simon.

Unfortunately, that rationale 'Worked' for a long time in the early history of the church, when circumstances dictated obedience for survival (but, many of those who Obeyed did NOT SURVIVE).

Today's world is Different. We function no longer as Robots/Morbots, but on the basis of a somewhat modified Mazlow's Hierarchy. The internet has lifted the veil of Mormon Control of information, never to fall again.

LOL. Sorry about that. For anyone else interested, 'esotla' stands for 'evil speaking of the Lord's anointed,' and 'siwoti' is 'someone is wrong on the Internet' and comes from this xkcd comic. I should probably spell that out somewhere on the blog.

And thanks to everyone who read my blog. Your compliments warm my hollow apostate heart. Almost as much as this big delicious coffee I'm drinking.

He just posted this as a comment on his article.

Quote:
This article has received a fair amount of traffic today, mostly coming from exMo sites. Good! I can't think of a better, more suitable article for apostate former members to read. The discussions on the boards and blogs that have linked to this seem to focus on the opinion that it is better for a believing wife to dump the apostate husband, when he begins to attack her faith and that of her children at home is the point that seems to elicit their most hostile remarks.

Some of you have said, "What about family togetherness and unity?" or something to that affect. Why didn't you care about family unity before your apostasy? It obviously wasn't your primary concern--selfishness was. Selfishness is what dictates that your family must follow you out of the Church when you can not tolerate their faith any longer. Your wives, children, and parents all know this to be the case.

This guy is a real piece of work.

Awesome blog. Love 'God-hours.'

Oh, he's a bishop? We'd better back the fuck off then.

Dear Brother SPAM. If you are reading this, please, consider your eternal salvation. Roughly 10% of the people on this site have already been turned gay by reading this forum. Other than turning people gay, we are mostly engaged in lightmindedness, loud laughter, evil speaking of the Lord's annointed, taking the name of God in vain, and every other unholy and impure practice.

Gosh, if he shows up over here, do you think he'll bring Kitty WaMu with him? We haven't had much fun here since she left.... :-)

SPAMLDS finally treats me with respect:

You have been banned from S.P.A.M. - Society for the Prevention of Anti-Mormonism

Sorry, Nathan R Kennard, you can not access S.P.A.M. - Society for the Prevention of Anti-Mormonism as you have been banned. If you think you've been banned in error, you can contact the administrator.

I had been a registered user and expressed in my personal information that I oppose the inaccurate and widespread use of the hate-mongering term "anti-mormon". I couldn't stand to associate with what came accross to me as self-righteous polemics. At no point did I experience sincere engagement there, only repetition of old dogma designed to discourage further thought. Good riddance.

I briefly considered signing up to comment after looking around there last night, but figured either I'd get banned or my comments wouldn't be posted. I have too much "university-induced mind clutter" (a hilarious comment I saw on there, but now can't seem to find). So I just pre-emptively banned myself.
