It's snowing and very windy here, but not a lot of accumulation.

From what I've heard, some midwestern states are getting a ton of snow.

A friend of mine in WY was saying the weather there was particularly cold...

Or do you live somewhere like Florida where the weather is in the 70s and clear??

In my part of WY it has been very cold. Negative 18F with the wind chill when I last looked last night, the actual was -3 and the high was 5*F.

Today the are expecting a high of 3*F, which it is right now, but the wind chill is -18*F currently. There are predictions of it being -30*F with the wind chill tonight.

The last three days there has been quite a bit of snow accumulation. However there is none expected for tonight.

Wow, I only thought it was cold here in the mid to lower teens and such in this part of WA.

I went outside to check temperatures in the walk-in refrigerator/freezer here and it felt so strange to warm up in the refrigerator.

Currently, 3 C -- so I think that's about 39 F? In the daytime, it's usually in the upper 40s F, and this weekend will be down in the 30s. Rains a lot this time of year, but today was sunny. We are in the most temperate area of the country.

10-12 inches of snow overnight, more supposed to be on the way. Temp in the teens but dropping, supposed to be -4 tonight. Tomorrow's supposed to be -20s windchills. And more of the same through the weekend. I think the arctic weather mass that Merc is experiencing is supposed to hit us sometime this evening.

And windy. Shit, I had to walk through snow drifts that were up to my mid-thigh just to get to my snow blower. Next year I'm buying a 4 wheeler with a snow-plow on it.

Cold and windy. Grey sky. Occasional rain. Pretty much like every other day of the year.

It's not like that all over Scotland of course: In the west coast they have less wind and more rain; down in Edinburgh the sky is a lighter shade of grey; in the borders they get flooding; on the mountains the wind often changes direction...

40 degrees and windy in the East Bay area We had snow early Monday morning-- first time in 30 years. Very wintry for the San Francisco area.
Brrrr....That same cold front is moving eastward pretty fast.

7F with a -12F wind chill here right now. It's supposed to get down to -25F tonight.

We've gotten about 8" of snow in the last 24 hours. Definitely not as bad as where tibber is or other parts of MN, though. I hear they got like 16" where my brother is in southern MN. Awesome.

32 degrees and clear. It gets down in the teens at night. Can't wash any clothes, the water line to the washer is frozen. So I have a shop light trying to keep that pipe warm. We're having soup and rolls for every meal. LOL

It's usually not this cold. DH told me he's going to burn some tires to stimulate some global warming. I told him all we'd get for his trouble is brain cancer.

It got up to 67 today. Down in the low to mid 40's tonight. Only in the 50s tomorrow, then back up in the mid 60's the rest of the week.

South Louisiana.
