Hello Ranch Hand. I read your exit story. Wow! 55 pages is not really a mini thesis, it is more than that I would think. It was extremely interesting and I would appreciate a link to a copy if you have ever thought of making it available. Welcome in.

Excellent exit letter. Hope you don't mind if others (myself?) use parts or most of it someday.

Alberta's going to pot, isn't it? I blame Bob McCue. :)

Welcome to FLAK! When I get more time I will read your entire exit letter. I never tire reading them, and feel like I learn something new each time I read one. Kind of like attending the temple. Only not. :-D

Big green hugs,

Froggie

Welcome, Ranch Hand. I read your exit statement, and feel compelled to ask you to write further about what you called the "impressive global scam" the church authorities have been perpetrating. You write so clearly, and with your background in business at Harvard, I think you would be the best person to bring some more light to this. I've considered the church to be a fraud, and since I believe most fraud has something to do with a small core of people making profits off of it, I wish someone would elucidate this.

Hello, like some of the other newcomers, I am coming over from PostMormon. It's a great place, but sometimes TSCC needs some R-rated discussion, and, as I understand it, this is the place for that.

I'm a 47 year old temple-married man with 6 kids and 4 grandkids. I was raised in the church as a 6th or 7th generation Mormon. I figured out about the impressive global scam the Mormon church has been playing on us in May '09. I was the stereotypical Morgbot: full tithe payer, calling magnifier, follower of the prophet, etc. For anyone with additional interest, here is link to my exit story: http://www.postmormon.org/exp_e/index.p ... The_Fraud/.

I look forward to paricipating on this forum with all of you

Hi Ranch Hand! I read your exit story and was very impressed with many similar conclusions and steps I made in my search for truth a few years back. Thanks for joining up here, there are many great Texmos on board here! Wow. What's in the water there? Lyman Wight must have received a revelation.. I'm kind of a flak slacker but I love this place...

Welcome, Ranch Hand! Love the avatar.

My never-Mo sister lives in Dallas and I wish I could relocate to be close to her and all the Texmos (good one Linc!) there.
