I've been gone for a while, but after a recent kerfuckel on another board, I figured I'd come back and give things a shot here.

To make a long story short, I left the church just under 4 years ago. I'm past most of the anger issues, but it still rears its ugly head from time to time. I'm an unabashed BYU Cougar football fan, even though it makes no sense. My wife left me after some epic cheating just prior to when I left the church. That was back in March 2008 (I last attended church in June or July of the same year). Anyway, thought I'd re-introduce myself after a prolonged absence.

Hi again! Welcome back!

I should remind you that kerfuckles(tm) are the intellectual property of belaja and FLAK. So they can't happen anywhere but here, unless someone pays up bigtime. Probably what you had was a garden-variety kerfuffle. Also: Where did it happen? Anything we could rubberneck? :D

I love me a good drive-by kerfuffle. Welcome back brailsmt - I always say your online name as 'Brazil mint' in my head. Maybe if you changed your online name to brailsnt I'd be able to think of you as 'Brazil nut'...would you consider the change?

I've always parsed it as 'Braille S M T' for some reason.

Well, its brails-m-t, kinda "pronounced" brails empty in my head. It is quite literally the first 6 letters of my last name and my first and middle initials.
