Anyone here serve in the Japan Sendai Mission?

I'm curious to see if there is anyone from my mission around on here or at RFM. I was there from 96-98.

Maybe it's just wishful thinking.

Korea Seoul, '92-'94. I've never heard if there are others from my mission either, Simeon. When I was on RfM they'd do a mission roll call every now and then. Sure would be fun to know who's out.

This is going to turn into the mission shout-out thread. I still haven't bumped into anyone I know here, and for some reason I really want to. Since I didn't go on my mission in France, I have to do this Foyer personal ad thing:

Micronesia Guam Mission - 90-92. (I like long walks by the ocean, etc., etc.)

Munich 1985-87. I run into two guys from my mission but one did not want to tell me who he was and really did not like me. C'est la vie.

I didn't go on my mission to Guam but I have been there once about 1997. It was quite fun. We stayed there for about a week. We even went to sacrement meeting there. It was a chapel on a bit of a hill if I remember and there were about 25 missionaries in the ward. They took up the first few rows in the chapel. Church was the same but Guam is beautiful and the ocean was fantastic.

By the way I served my mission in the Tennessee Nashville mission 85-87.

Hey Epstein, not my mission but I did work with a couple of guys in '95 who had recently served in Micronesia and spoke Pohnpeian. Sounded like a fascinating place.

Lived in within the Sendai boundaries (Misawa Air Force Base) as a small child -- at least I think that's in the Sendai mission. It's not Hokkaido, but they still have a great snow sculpture festival (at least I remember it being great - but I'm sure I was easily impressed).

My mission was Mexico Torreon (with stops in Mexico City North and The Great Louisiana Baton Rouge Mission).
