Further Light and Knowledge

I've seen other message boards that have this option. I'm not sure how difficult it would be.

I don't want to ask people to change their really cool avatars simply because I check FLAK from work (I know, I know!), and I work for people who do not have a sense of humor.

So it would be nice to have the option to not view avatars. That way, I wouldn't have to ask people to think about using another avatar if some (@ my humorless workplace) might consider it NSFW.

There is a Firefox tool called AdBlocker that gives you the option to block all graphics from a web site.

I really love it. Somebody has an avatar with plug sockets along the spinal column that totally creeps me out (I think it's over on NOM). So I have that one blocked, along with some of the more flagrantly "check out my hot bod" girls and Dancing Elaine. Though for some reason, I haven't felt the need to block most of the "check out my hod bod" boys. Go figure.
