Has this ever been discussed before?

I was just thinking that there are things that forum members (i.e. me) would talk about if I knew just FLAK posters were able to read instead of god and everybody.

Obviously, everything a person posts can be re-posted and discussed elsewhere. There is no privacy on the internet, etc.

Would it be worthwhile?

It depends upon what you are paranoid about. If you are worried that there are COB employees reading then this won't stop them (they will just sign up). If you are worried about being Googled then yes it could prevent it.

I don't think it really helps a whole lot. The only way to keep the trolls and god out is to make it invitation only.
