WOW! Everyone wants to be one of us!

Well Done JB..I have an old website which I no longer bother to visit, it is now a spammers' paradise..I used to go on at least once a day, a while ago, to try to get rid of them all, but it took so long and new spammers just kept taking over again..and hardly any other people posted anymore

Been there, done that. I lost a bulletin board to spam. Had to completely take it down because it got to be too much.

I am going to be restricting the avatar size down to 100 x 100. Currently it is a maximum of 333 x 333.

If, for whatever reason, you notice your avatar is missing, just let me know. I should be able to snag it and resize it, then re-attach it.

The smaller avatar size is no problem, but all non-square avatars are messed up now. Is there someway to make the board preserve the aspect ratio of the resized avatars?

I'll keep messing with it to find a good aspect ratio.

I think this works for now, but some of the square ones are messed up, now.

I just replied to someone in my PM box and when I go to their posts it says that he is on my ignore list. Is that something I did on accident or the other person did?

I get this error message when trying to upload a new avatar.


My avatar is no larger than 100 pixels wide and 100 pixels high but it won't allow the change.

It was set to force everyone's avatar to be 100 x 100. Try it now. You should be able to add it.

Would it be possible to add a facebook-style "like" button to comments and maybe even a "dislike" button as well? What do others think about this? Maybe I'm the only person who wants this.
