Sorry this is a bit off topic - for me Palin will always and ever by Michael of that ilk, officially the nicest man in British media (according to a BBC viewer poll IIRC). Anyhow, I finally succumbed and looked up my "Sarah Palin Baby Name" in order to scoff and mock, but now I'm a convert. From now on you can all refer to me as Bullet Bodycheck Palin. Love that name!

Hey! That's MY Sarah Palin Baby Name!

WTF?

That's exactly who I thought they were referring to when they said "McCain picks Palin." I thought it was kind of odd, what with him not being a citizen and all.

I KNOW! I *heart* Michael Palin and all his awesome funniness as well as his great travel shows. I can't believe his name has been sullied by this new Alaskan Russia expert. Glurgh.

Oh no way. Next thing you'll tell me my temple name isn't unique either.

Still, sharing the same New Name with Belaja makes me love it even more.

Is it a beauty queen thing?

Compare and contrast these to responses:

I've heard rumors that Palin may "bail out" of the campaign herself. Maybe she'll use the old excuse of wanting to spend more time with her family. Or maybe McCain will give her the pink slip.

Anyone know anything about that?

I Tina Fey!!

Her Sarah Palin SNL skits are killing me...the one from last night was perfection.

Amy Poehler was better as Hillary Clinton than as Katie Couric, but she is very funny too.

Disaster for the country, boon for comedy. Meh. I can live with that. Cool

Here's an "amusing" Palin video based off Matt Damon's recent comments:
