|
The Mormon Expression Podcast has just released it's third podcast.
It's titled: Our 3 favorite things about the Church.
We also have our first female voice on as well!
Podcast #3 description:
| Quote: | | In this Episode each of the panelist discusses the three things about the Church they admire, they miss or they respect. Topic range from music, to freemasonry. Also discussed are various doctrines, culture, society, business and practices of the Church. See if the panel can agree on even one thing, and if the ex-Mormons can’t say anything nice or can’t say anything at all. Plus, the panel is joined by its first female voice. |
Next week's episode is devoted to an introduction into the Book of Abraham with a special guest Christopher Smith. |

Cool, this guy knows wtf he's talking about when it comes to BoA. I don't even think he's mormon (or ex) either.
eta: I'd love to hear if he has any inside info on when Brent Metcalfe's book on BoA is coming out. It's been "forthcoming" for quite a while now. _________________ He never said it would be worth it; He only said it would be easy. |

This Mormon Expressions project sounds interesting...is it anything like the Mormon Stories project of old? _________________ I blog a lot more than I post, so you might want to check out Irresistible (Dis)Grace sometime. |

You are right, Chris is a neverMo. He dated a Mormon girl and did his own research and never joined. He is one smart dude. |

Not really. It's not as centered on ways to "Stay a Believer" like the Mormon Stories podcasts were.
We aren't afraid to say it how it is and let the chips fall where they may. Make sure you let us know what you think! |

Thanks for the kind words. Brent's book is likely still a ways out, not least because he has a full time job and recently lost a month's worth of work after a harddrive crash. But I happen to know that work on it is indeed going forward, however slowly.
Brian Hauglid's edition of the KEP will be published sooner, perhaps even before the end of the year. |
